Wallace and Gromit make fun of leprosy

Wallace and Gromit are fun characters, but disappoint me in their latest film

The activities of The Leprosy Mission to encourage the media to stop reflecting leprosy in a negative light continues. The latest lobbying is along with our colleagues at LEPRA, as we have discovered that Wallace and Gromit stigmatise leprosy affected people!

Their latest effort 'The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists' there is a scene when a person affected by leprosy's arm falls off.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BD9JIE7bL-Q&feature=relmfu  This just doesn't happen folks!

It makes me really sad that in the name of entertainment people have to continue the negative presentation of leprosy. There are about 3 million people living with the affects of leprosy and they just don't find it funny! Neither do I!
