Mr Mainudin Dafali from Nepal and Mr Anjan Dey from India were this year’s winners of the award. David Parry, TLMI Chairman, presented them both with a wooden plaque and a framed citation. They each gave inspiring and moving speeches, explaining the stigma they had experienced due to leprosy and how they had overcome this and made it their life’s work to improve the lives of people affected by leprosy.
