Sudan

The referendum in Sudan has begun, and is now in its second day.

Yousif Deng (The Leprosy Mission, Sudan) writes:
"As the referendum has began and the tension is high our eyes are fixed on Him for His support and intervention in a way that will bring His glory."

"I do praise the Lord of His care and those colleagues and friends who are praying for us."

Please pray for the following:
1. Praising God for bringing us into new- year safe and sound.
2. Praising God for what his doing in our life in our country.
3. Please pray for safety and protection for TLM Staff who are now in Khartoum, Darfur and Kordufan.
4. Pray for Ayiik family as they have lost their younger daughter who is two years old.
5. Pray that the referendum phase will go smoothly and peacefully.
6. Pray for the southerners who are in Khartoum for safety and protection
7. Pray for the Church in North for God to protect it from any danger
8. Pray for the Christian in the North for protection, freedom to worship and protection
